An exciting opportunity is available within Beamish’s Health and Wellbeing Team. This team is a small and dynamic team working within the museum to provide unique and meaningful opportunities to support the physical and mental health and wellbeing of people living within the community, including people living with dementia, other cognitive impairments and those experiencing mental health issues.

The Health and Wellbeing Support Worker will be responsible for the delivery of a diverse range of activities based at the museum, combining the principles of occupational therapy, person-centred care and utilising its unique environment and collections to support and promote wellbeing, recovery and independence.

The Health and Wellbeing Support Worker will be actively involved in the preparation, delivery, evaluation and housekeeping which is essential to the day-to-day running of the health and wellbeing activities.
