Beamish Museum are seeking expressions of interest for suitably qualified and experienced contractors to carry out localised improvement works to the access road, and entrance gate infrastructure, to the Flint Mill Cottage/ Pockerley Manor area of the museum site. The works are generally as follows:

– containment and infrastructure associated with automated gates at the main museum entrance

– supply and installation of automated gates at the main museum entrance, and detailed design of same.

– localised excavation and replacement of areas of failed road

– installation of cut off drains and culverts to prevent further deterioration existing roads

– surface preparation and dressing of existing roads

 

The anticipated value of the project is circa £70K, which will be let under a JCT Minor Works Form of Contract

The works are programmed to commence early May 2024, and require completion by the end of June 2024

– delivery of a similar scope and value of works within the last 3 years
