Ensuring a fantastic visitor experience, is our number one priority and this is underpinned by excellence in customer care by always putting the visitor first. As an independent museum 95 per cent of our income comes from our visitors and as part of our commercial operations we require an individual to work across our food and beverage exhibits and outlets.
Beamish, the Living Museum of the North is a multi award-winning museum which puts people and the communities we serve at the heart of everything we do. It was founded in 1970 and holds important collections preserving the social, industrial and agricultural heritage of the region which are brought to life across a 350 acre site.
The museum is self-sustaining with a large diverse audience. We rely upon talented people who are able to demonstrate exceptional skills and personal characteristics to deliver the outstanding and immersive experience we offer to visitors.
