The museum’s fleet will be joined by a number of visiting vehicles during this special weekend. Highlights include:

We will also be hosting an impressive model tramway exhibition in our 1950s welfare hall across the weekend.

We’ve put together some top tips to help you make the most of your visit this weekend:

⭐️To get you through admissions as quickly and smoothly as possible, buy your Unlimited Pass online before you visit. When you arrive, have your booking confirmation or Unlimited Pass ready for scanning.
⭐️Follow all instructions from our car park attendants, who will help you get parked as quickly and easily as possible.
⭐️If you can, why not travel to the museum by bus? If you do, you will be entitled to 25 per cent off the price of an individual Unlimited Pass by showing your bus ticket at the Entrance when you arrive (please note this discount cannot be applied to online orders).
⭐️There’s going to be lots to see and do so sensible shoes are a must!
⭐️We’re hoping for good weather so remember to stay hydrated and drink plenty of water – did you know we have free water refill stations across the museum?
⭐️Have your camera at the ready – we have so many impressive vehicles taking part we’re sure you’ll want to take lots of photos – we’d love to see some of them – tag us in! (please note, the use of tripods, monopods, supplementary lighting or drones is not permitted).

Beamish Steam Gala – Wheels of Industry is included in museum admission and is free to Beamish Unlimited Pass holders and Friends of Beamish members, pay once and visit free for a year!
