St John Ambulance 1950s Heritage Event

Sat, 27th April

On Saturday, 27th April, we will be joined by volunteers from St John Ambulance. If you’d like to find out what St John Ambulance was up to in the 1950s, and learn some essential first aid skills, make sure to visit our 1950s welfare hall!

There will be a number of activities to have a go at, from practicing your bandaging skills to creating fake wounds for casualty simulation and demonstrations of historic and current CPR.

St John Ambulance has been serving communities around the North East for 130 years, providing first aid and emergency response.

As with all daytime events, you can use your Unlimited Pass or Friends of Beamish membership to enjoy this special event.
