The 1900s Pit Village will be hosting the World Quoits Championship, see members of the National Quoits Association battle it out across the two day event.
Quoits was popular in the 1900s, with many men and boys playing the game all year round. A lot of men had their own quoits and most public houses had a quoits pitch with games between local village champions being well attended and very competitive.
