Hold your horses, there’s neigh chance you’ll want to miss this exciting equine event!
We’ll be joined by a number of visiting horses who will be trotting around the museum throughout the weekend.
See the St David road coach, the winner of this year’s Royal Windsor Horse Show’s coaching class.
Head to The 1900s Pit Village to meet The Queen’s Bays 2nd Dragoon Guards Living History Group, a World War One farrier and wheelwright will also be giving displays.
Meet Marley the pit pony who will be demonstrating in and around the pit pony stables and Colliery Yard.
Watch heavy horses both working the land and travelling around the museum pulling traditional brewery drays.
Enjoy donkey rides at The Fairground (children only).
On Sunday (9th June), see local British Driving Society members assemble on the Events Field before completing a lap of the museum and returning to the Events Field for a presentation of rosettes.
As with all daytime events, you can use your Unlimited Pass or Friends of Beamish membership to enjoy this special event.
