Flag Days were held during the First World War to raise money for causes including support for soldiers on the front line, prisoners of war and disabled servicemen.
Join us on Saturday, 18th and Sunday, 19th May to celebrate the important contribution children and young people made towards fundraising during this period, as well as the great work they do nowadays.
Get involved and have a go at making your own flag in our 1900s Pit Village, and try our Bob a Job Week activity to collect your Shilling Stamps in our 1950s Town.
As with all daytime events, you can use your Unlimited Pass or Friends of Beamish membership to enjoy this special event.
