Good news boys and girls – Our Beamish Pantomime is back in our 1950s welfare hall by popular demand… oh yes it is!
Get ready for some rip-roaring, thigh-slapping fun as we follow the calamitous adventures of Dick Whittington as he sets off on the journey of a lifetime. Settle in for a show like no other, full of music, mischief and, of course, mayhem!
The panto lasts around 35/40 minutes.
Tickets
Pre-booking required. Tickets for all visitors aged 5 and over cost £2. Under 5s/carers attend for free but will still need to reserve a space. All visitors aged 5 and over will need an Unlimited Pass or Friends of Beamish membership in order to enter the museum.

Dates and times
Shows take place on the 4th, 5th, 11th and 12th February 2023 at 11am, 1pm and 2.30pm in our 1950s welfare hall. Please arrive 30 minutes before curtains up. The panto lasts around 35/40 minutes.
Location
The Beamish Pantomime takes place in our 1950s welfare hall. Our 1950s welfare hall is located a short walk from our 1950s Town. Our transport will be in operation – the closest bus stop is The 1950s Town, the closest tram stop is The 1900s Town. Alternatively, it is approximately a 15-minute walk from the Entrance to the 1950s welfare hall (walking in an anti-clockwise direction from the Entrance Building). A valid Beamish Unlimited Pass or Friends of Beamish membership is required to enter the museum for all visitors aged 5 and above – entry to the museum is not included in the Beamish Pantomime ticket.
No dogs or other animals are allowed in our 1950s welfare hall – only assistance dogs.
Children under 14 years of age must always be accompanied by an adult when visiting the museum.
Beamish reserves the right to alter events, activities, facilities, operations and opening times without prior notice.
