Beamish is an exciting place to work, where visitor needs are our priority. We are currently seeking seasonal staff within the following teams:

Food Team Engagers (Seasonal)
Beamish operates a wide variety of busy food outlets, the ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment delivering the highest standards of service to our visitors.

Cleaners (Seasonal)
Applicants should be able to demonstrate their commitment to outstanding visitor engagement, to carry out cleaning and litter control with the aim of maintaining the museum to excellent standards for our visitors with the highest attention to detail.

Engagers (Seasonal)
Our engagement team is looking for people who have enthusiasm, outstanding communication skills and a passion for north east history to work in our period areas. If you fit the bill we’d like to hear from you.

Entrance Team Member (Seasonal)
Do you have great communication skills and an ability to provide outstanding customer service in a busy environment? We would like you to join our entrance team to help us provide a warm welcome to all of our visitors.

Transport (Seasonal)
To engage with visitors to the Museum as part of the Transport Team at the Waggonway, Colliery Railways, Rowley Station, and Tramway and other areas as allocated. Applicants must be over 18 years old, due to the safety critical nature of the role.

Attendants (Seasonal)
To provide support with the daily operations, events and activities across the museum site, assist in ensuring a safe and secure environment for visitors, staff and volunteers.
