We are looking for a motivated team player with a flexible and hands-on approach to school engagement to join the Museum’s Learning Team. The Learning Coordinator will use the Museum’s collections and facilities to develop and deliver inspiring and engaging learning activities for school groups and families visiting the Museum and uphold the Museum’s ethos of supporting excellence in how it engages with school children and families. The Learning Coordinator will also work closely with the Engagement Team and the Events Officers to assist in using Beamish and its collections as a tool to increase participation by schools, young people and families at events and festivals at the Museum. The Learning Coordinator will also support the delivery of schools outreach and activities linked to Remaking Beamish.
Closing date for receipt of completed applications is 12 noon on Monday 10th April 2017. Successful candidates will be notified by Thursday 20th April and interviews will be held on Friday 28th April.
