Remaking Beamish Administration Assistant
37 hours per week (Fixed Term to August 2023)
£19,498 per Annum
Remaking Beamish is the biggest development in Beamish’s history. The exciting project includes over 25 new exhibits and attractions and is bringing a new era to the museum in the form of a 1950s Town and 1950s farm.
We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Administration Assistant to support our in-house construction team and on site subcontractors to meet the challenge of delivering the design and build elements of this project. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude and proven skills in developing and maintaining efficient and comprehensive site office administration records.
Thanks to the money raised by National Lottery players, the project has been awarded a £10.9million grant by The National Lottery Heritage Fund – a major milestone in Beamish’s history and the largest single investment ever seen at the museum. Construction is expected to be completed in 2023.
