An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 1950s Town Team Leader within the museum’s Engagement Team. If you have excellent communication, organisation and people management skills as well as knowledge of the history of the North in East, you could be the right person to lead the day-to-day running of the 1950s Town and the people who work and volunteer within it.

The successful candidate will lead and manage the 1950s Town Team in the care, good management, interpretation and engagement for the benefit of museum visitors and work with the Keeper of Social History & Remaking Beamish Engagement Development Officer as the area develops, telling key North East stories and continuing to put the visitor first.
