Bah-Humbug - The Problem of the Poor

This is an enquiry based activity linked to the English Literature GCSE curriculum, A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. Students will use their powers of persuasion to encourage five characters linked to the story to give money to the poor.

Pupils will become junior members of Beamish Town Council and it will be their job to decide which one of our diverse families will be moving into Beamish Town Council’s new council house.
