We have an exciting vacancy for a Finance Director to join Beamish, The Living Museum of the North.
Working as part of the Senior Leadership Team, you will play a critical part in aiding the museum at an exciting time in our development, embarking on a new strategy. You will help us deliver our purpose, sustain our long-term financial health, and grow our impact. Leading on all aspects of financial management, planning, and reporting, you will also oversee risk assurance, financial compliance, procurement and pensions.
As a qualified accountant, you will have senior finance leadership experience, be a strategic thinker with strong stakeholder engagement skills, who always places people at the centre of how you work. You have strong collaborative and relationship-building skills. As a charity we need someone who can work closely with our Board of Trustees and Finance subcommittee, building powerful relationships with our stakeholders. You will identify with our values and have a strong commitment to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion and sustainability.
