Looking for the perfect post Christmas outing? Well look no further! We invite you to join us in celebrating Twelfth Night and first footing at Pockerley Old Hall from the 27th December to 5th January (closed New Year’s Day).
Join us for Twelfth Night celebrations – enjoy music, dancing, food and first footing, the perfect outing to blow away the post-Christmas cobwebs.
We will be holding traditional Twelfth Night celebrations at Pockerley Old Hall where you will be able to enjoy music, ceilidh dancing, food and mask-making. We will also have storytelling at Joe the Quilters cottage.
New Year’s celebrations will be taking place across site, with festive food and first footing.
There will be special pantomime performances of The Lambton Worm in our 1950s welfare hall – come along and see John Lambton on his quest to defeat the worm in this adaptation of the local legend. Performances will take place at 10.30am, 12pm, 1.30pm and 3pm, and will last for approximately half an hour – oh yes they will!
As with all daytime events, you can use your Unlimited Pass!
Please note, the museum is closed on New Year’s Day.
