On Saturday, 12th and Sunday, 13th June our Beamish horses will be joined by a fantastic selection of up to 20 visiting horses who will be ridden and driven around the site. The magnificent animals will be making their way around the museum across the weekend, make sure to give them a wave as they pass!
Visit the military encampment of the 2nd Queen’s Bays re-enactment group in The 1900s Pit Village, say hello to Marley the pit pony at the pit pony stables and see an encampment of a travelling musician and his horse in the picnic field beside Pockerley Old Hall.

Under Step 3 of the COVID-19 roadmap, we have reopened many of our indoor exhibits and attractions, and are running our 1950s buses.
