Get ready to have a flipping good time as we celebrate Shrove Tuesday at Beamish!
Traditionally, Shrove Tuesday, otherwise known as Pancake Day, was a time to use up rich foods, such as eggs, milk and sugar before the fasting season of Lent where people would, and often still do, give something up for the 40 days leading up to Easter.
As with all daytime events, you can use your Unlimited Pass or Friends of Beamish membership to enjoy this special event.
