Beamish Cluedo activity

Saturday, November 12th

Beamish Museum has launched its very own version of classic board game Cluedo! To mark the launch, you can join a Beamish Cluedo event on selected dates (Saturday, 12th October, Saturday, 19th October and Sunday, 20th October 2022)

Forget Miss Scarlet and Colonel Mustard, will it be the Tram Driver with the lead pipe in the garage, or the Music Teacher with the candlestick in the dentist’s?

Join us in Beamish’s 1900s Town to solve the mystery of the murder of grocer Mr Green.

The murderer remains a mystery and a weapon is yet to be determined. Museum visitors are asked to stay vigilant and keep a sharp eye as they join in with this Beamish Museum Cluedo event!

Meet in the bandstand in The 1900s Town park (or the Masonic Hall in case of rain) at 11am and 2pm every day to take part in the Beamish Cluedo event.

Make your way around The 1900s Town to inspect the garage, bank, chemist’s, dentist’s, grocer’s and Masonic Hall and, through a process of elimination, work out where Mr Green was murdered, what weapon was used to commit the crime and, most important of all… whodunnit?

Cross off each of the suspects and weapons as you discover them in the various locations. The remaining suspect and weapon will reveal who the murderer was and what they used to commit the crime.

The answers will be revealed before 12noon and before 3pm in the bandstand in the park (or the Masonic Hall in case of rain). The answers will also be displayed at the Entrance. Get the location, weapon and suspect right and get a certificate!

Beamish has teamed up with Cluedo maker Hasbro for the Beamish edition of the classic board game. Beamish Museum Cluedo will be available to buy from The 1900s Town Market, Museum Shop at the Entrance and the museum’s online shop.
