Flag Days were held during the First World War to raise money for causes including support for soldiers on the front line, prisoners of war and disabled servicemen.
- Starting 2pm at the events field, a flag parade will travel through the Edwardian Town.
- Get involved with flag making in the Pit Village School.
- Watch a Bubbleologist on the Events Field
- Pick up a ‘Bob a Job’ activity card from the Entrance, and complete the jobs around The 1950s Town to collect shilling stickers for a job well done!
- Bands will be playing on the Events Field, The 1900s Town Bandstand and the Pit Village Band Hall.
As with all daytime events, you can use your Unlimited Pass or Friends of Beamish membership to enjoy this special event.
