The Canny Cuppa group at Beamish Museum is a weekly social group for people who are feeling lonely and isolated, and who would like to start socialising with a small group of people. This group is run in partnership with the team of Social Prescribing Link Workers who work across the GP surgeries in Chester-le-Street.
If you would like to find out more about this group, you can either contact your Link Worker via your GP surgery or contact Michelle Kindleysides, Head of Health and Wellbeing at Beamish Museum.
Each group meets for eight weeks. Participants must live within Chester-le-Street to attend this group. Sessions take place every Thursday from 1pm to 3pm.
Currently this group is at capacity and so we aren’t excepting new referrals. If you would still like to be added to the waiting list please complete this form: https://forms.office.com/r/2n9PjDaYnH. However, please be aware it might be several months until we are able to offer you a place.
