Beamish Young Volunteers

The Beamish Young Volunteers are a group aged 16-19, who are the young voice within the museum, working on projects for young people, by young people.

The group provides opportunities to gain new skills and experience, work towards qualifications, help plan and deliver activities and events and discuss upcoming projects including Remaking Beamish. They meet on the second Saturday of each month, as well as help out at events and take part in volunteering during school holidays.
