Travel back in time to Beamish for a unique day out.
It's a vast, living, working experience of life as it
was in the Great North in the early 1800s and early
1900s. Take a tram or bus to The Town, Colliery Village,
Home Farm, Pockerley Manor and The 1825 Railway. See
the latest Beamish attractions - the magnificent Masonic
Hall in The Town and the amazing Puffing Billy locomotive.

You need over fifteen people in the party to qualify
for the summer group charges. There is no reduced rate
for groups in winter - everyone pays £6.00. Free
place for Group Visit Organiser and coach driver. Under
5s are admitted free of charge.
Youth
Groups (groups of young people e.g. guides, scouts
but not schools). Supervising adults are admitted free,
1 to 10 children, for close supervision. In excess of
that ratio supervising adults pay £11.00 in summer
and £6.00 in winter.
Allow
at least 4 hours for a summer visit
The whole of Beamish is open during the summer. *A winter
visit is centred on The Town and Tramway only (other
areas are closed) and, consequently, admission charges
are substantially reduced. Visit time approx. 2 hours.
