An exciting opportunity is available within the Engagement and Participation Team for an enthusiastic, motivated and well organised individual to work as part of the team.

The Volunteer and Access Co-ordinator, with the Volunteer Co-ordinator (Young People), is responsible for the recruitment, management and supervision of volunteers at Beamish Museum; working with colleagues across the museum to increase capacity and scope of volunteering helping Beamish to deliver excellent engagement for our visitors and meet the needs of Remaking Beamish.

The Volunteer and Access Co-ordinator will also work to support the development of volunteering in partner museums as a member of a Volunteer Network in County Durham.

The successful post holder will be responsible for organising and co-ordinating the Access Panel ensuring they continue to be consulted and involved.

Successful candidates will be notified by Friday 7th October and interviews will be held week commencing 10th October.
