Remaking Beamish Senior Site Supervisor

£25,957- £28,684

Details

Beamish has broken ground with a £17.8 million project, supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund, to transform the open air Museum, adding a 1950s town, a Coaching Inn, and a number of 1820s buildings. For more information about the project, please have a look at our website: http://www.beamish.org.uk/future-plans/

Unusually, we are undertaking the design and build elements of this project in-house so we are seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Construction Site Supervisor to oversee building activity across two construction sites.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of managing trades across multiple sites, hold current industry knowledge of build specification, have an eye for detail and team working skills that ensure work programmes are delivered on time. Knowledge of working on heritage builds and with reclaimed materials would also be an advantage.

Construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2020. The contract is for 37 hours per week, for a fixed-term of 36 months initially. Any questions regarding the role can be directed to michellelagar@beamish.org.uk
