Beamish tells the story of everyday working life in the North East – bringing the rich social, agricultural and industrial heritage of our region to life in a living, working, open air museum. We are self-sustaining with a large, growing and diverse audience of 500,000 people per year. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and organised individual to join the team and fill the post of Remaking Beamish Engagement Development Officer.
The successful post holder will work collaboratively with teams across the Museum to research, create and enable immersive, multi sensory engagement within the new 1950s and 1820s areas, ensuring that visitors understand a coherent story of the north east through time and receive a world class experience at Beamish.
