Beamish is seeking to appoint:

Programme Manager, East Durham Creates

East Durham Creates has been set up to try out new ways of getting more people across East Durham involved in something creative. It’s about trying new things, building on what’s already happening, learning what works – and what doesn’t – and helping to bring about long term change in East Durham.

The programme features significant newly commissioned artistic projects, each inspired and shaped by things that local people have told us matter to them. We have exciting plans in place over the next year and are now looking for an experienced and passionate individual to ensure the successful delivery of the programme. The role of Programme Manager is a diverse and challenging one, with no two days the same. You’ll be responsible for managing day-to-day activity, working closely with Consortium partners and others to develop and deliver artistic projects, and overseeing effective operations across all areas of responsibility.

The ideal candidate will have an outstanding track record of working with multiple partners and stakeholders, experience of producing and presenting projects within the cultural sector and engaging with communities. You’ll also relish the challenges of balancing multiple priorities and working in fast-paced and rewarding environment.
