Remaking Beamish Project Staff

Beamish is thriving and we have exciting plans for the future - using more of our outstanding collections to tell the story of everyday life in the North East region through time.
Thanks to major funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund we are about to start an exciting 17 million project featuring innovative developments such as a 1950s Town and Farm, museum exhibits offering overnight accommodation for visitors and a dedicated centre for people living with dementia.
We are looking for 6 talented people to join our team of some 350 staff and 450 volunteers, working to ensure this exciting project is shaped by people from across communities in the North East.

These new development positions are funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund. Initially you will be employed to develop the project HLF Stage II submission. Subject to further funding, the positions will then be extended to deliver the project until December 2020.

Those shortlisted only will be contacted by Wednesday 8th October 2014.

Interviews will be held from Wednesday 15th October to Friday 17th October 2014. If you are not available during these dates please let us know.
