Transport and Industry Engager, Seasonal (7.18 per hour)

We have vacancies within the Transport and Industry Department for seasonal engagement staff to work in the Drift Mine and Transport Teams. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to work in a range of roles from leading guided tours of the Museums Drift Mine to working with Trams and Steam Engines.

Venue Sales Officer (Maternity Cover) Scale 4, 37 hours (Point 18, 17,714)

12 month fixed term contract, commencing 1st June 2015

This is your chance to join us and help us on this journey, ensuring our Museum continues to develop and grow.

We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, and hardworking individual, to support the Group and Venue Sales Team for a period of twelve months. First and foremost you will have experience of organising and planning events to a consistently high standard, with excellent communication and administration skills. The right candidate will be able to work well under pressure, whilst maintaining strong attention to detail at all times; with an ability to foster relationships with clients and collegues alike. You will be passionate about Beamish and take pride in meeting and exceeding our visitors expectations.
