Traditional Festive Recipes

bakingboxIf you've been inspired by the delicious Christmas cooking at Pockerley Old Hall and Home Farm, why not have a go yourself?

We have some traditional Christmas recipes for you to download and try your hand at cooking Georgian and Victorian style:

For all your Edwardian baking needs, why not visit our Co-op Hardware Department in the Town and pick up a ceramic mixing bowl (like Grandma used to use!) or a traditional pudding basin, perfect for making your Christmas pud!

We have lots of traditional goods for sale, as well as in our Grocery and Drapery departments, and our Printers shop too! And not forgetting the scrumptious creations of Jubilee Confectionery...

Christmas at Beamish

At weekends you can immerse yourself in Christmas at Beamish. Enjoy some Christmas shopping in the Town, sample some Christmas treats at Home Farm and Pockerley Old Hall, and see homes decorated as they would have been in festive seasons gone by.

Have a go at Ice Skating in the Pit Village, or visit Father Christmas in his magical fireside Grotto. There is something for the whole family to enjoy!
