Beamish Unlimited

From The 1940s Farm reopening to Halloween fun – visit Beamish Museum this October Half Term, from 24th October to 1st November 2020.

Explore The 1940s Farm, which is opening for the first time since the museum closed due to the coronavirus pandemic. The farm tells the story of life on the Home Front in the Second World War, a time of Land Girls, rationing, the Home Guard and “make do and mend”.

Visitors can also enjoy Halloween-themed family fun, with scary sights at Pockerley Old Hall. The sweet shop and bakery in The 1900s Town will be making spooky sweets and terrifically terrifying treats!

Can you spot the creepy costumed cast of not-so-cuddly bears in our Teddy Bear Halloween Haunting Trail… click here to download the trail.

COVID-19 Secure measures are in place across the museum. This includes pre-booked timeslots for all visitors, social distancing and additional health and hygiene measures.

*Please note, due to COVID-19 we are not able to run our usual Halloween Evenings. Visitors will be able to enjoy Halloween fun at Pockerley Old Hall during half term daytimes – please be aware this is different to our usual separate ticketed Halloween Evenings.
