Beamish is an award winning museum and has gained a reputation for exceptional event opportunities. From major product launches to intimate dinner parties, corporate ‘family days’ to weddings, we offer unique locations and tailored packages to make any event, no matter how large or small, a real success.
Beamish is the ideal place to impress clients or treat staff and family members, in an environment which is both safe and memorable. Our dedicated Team will be on hand to work with you to develop your ideas into something really special – an event you’ll never forget.
As a daytime function venue, we have private room facilities overlooking our Edwardian Town or in our Regional Resource Centre. Alternatively for larger functions, our Events Field can be used for marquees and plays host to a wide and diverse range of corporate and charity-based events. We can offer a selection of team building activities, or simply an unusual venue for a birthday party or anniversary celebration.
Beamish really comes into its own for evening functions when the Museum can be exclusively yours. Imagine the magic of a drinks reception in the Edwardian Carriage House, a family gathering in The Sun Inn, a fabulous buffet in the Dainty Dinah Tea Rooms overlooking the cobbled street of The Town and period tram and bus rides to and from your event.

Beamish Museum also regularly hosts car, caravan and motor-home rallies. Car rallies take place on our Events Field and caravan & motor-home rallies are accommodated within the visitor car park.
