Leave the bustle of modern life behind and join a member of our Gardening Team to discover the historical secrets of the gardens here at Beamish. Perfect for the gardener who has everything!
Gardens can be many things – ornamental, working, sensory, but we rarely stop to think about how they have changed through time and why. Focusing on the beautiful gardens at Pockerley Old Hall, you will join a member of our knowledgeable gardening team to learn how the gardens have been painstakingly re-created as they would have been in the past. Why were they styled in the way that they were? What plants were grown and why? And how do we know? Find out all of this and more in this fascinatingly unique talk!
Enjoyed the whole experience, the staff as always were knowledgeable and friendly, well worth the money.
