Join Beamish’s wonderful Gardens and Woodland Team for a unique historical floral design experience.
Enjoy a relaxing few hours surrounded by natural beauty as you learn the art of traditional floral design at Beamish Museum.
Take a walk through The 1900s Pit Village and cut your own flowers under the guidance of our Gardens and Woodland Team, whilst enjoying a historical talk about the gardens. After you have selected your flowers we will then teach you to create your own beautiful floral designs.
During this experience, our skilled Gardens and Woodland Team will share their knowledge and you will learn to make a basket bouquet, a traditional button hole arrangement and a summer flower garland (or you could choose to make a wild flower bouquet)!
Our Floral Design Traditional Experience is the perfect way to learn how to arrange flowers for your home and is an ideal workshop to do with a friend or family member.
Suitable for beginners, the Floral Design Traditional Experience will give you the skills you need to create more bouquets and arrangements in the future.
Cost: £65 per person. Lunch & refreshments included.
The museum is temporarily closed in response to the Government’s guidance on coronavirus. We are continuing to monitor the situation and will keep everyone updated about future dates for our Traditional Experiences.
