Pantomime in the Masonic Hall
Every day from 27th December – 7th January.
Watch a traditional Edwardian-style pantomime performed by Beamish staff and volunteers. It is the 150th anniversary of the Lambton Worm song, which was written for the pantomime at the Tyne Theatre in 1867. The pantomime (running time 30 minutes) will be performed at 11am, 12.30pm and 2pm.
Inspired by the toy theatres popular in Victorian and Edwardian times, children will bring traditional tales to life, try on costumes, produce sound effects and narrate the tale, as they perform their own pantomime.
As with all daytime events, you can use your Unlimited Pass!
Please note, the museum is closed on New Year’s Day.
