Twelfth Night Celebrations

27th Dec - 6th Jan

Our Twelfth Night Celebrations run from 27th December 2022 to 6th January 2023. Enjoy live music, crafts and traditional displays – the perfect outing to blow away the post-Christmas cobwebs!

Up at Pockerley Old Hall you can enjoy merry music and take part in fun, family craft activities as you soak up the festive atmosphere.

From 27th December to 3rd January, listen to The Ran Tanners performing at 10am-12.30pm, and join in Ceilidh dancing with the King Cole band at 12.30-3pm.

From 4th to 6th January, The Ran Tanners will play 11am-1.30pm, while visitors can take part in Ceilidh dancing.

Sample Twelfth night treats and try your hand at making your very own Twelfth Night mask.

At our 1900s Pit Village, find out how the New Year was traditionally celebrated as we tell the story of first footing.

In Ravensworth Terrace in our 1900s Town, see traditional food displays as the townsfolk prepare their festive feasts.

Don’t forget to visit Elf Wood for a final chance to spot all of our mischievous elves!
