Join us on Sunday, 16th June 2019 for the 49th Beamish Reliability Run, a 150-mile run through Durham and North Yorkshire beginning and ending at Beamish.
The Beamish Safety and Reliability Run is for cars, motorcycles and commercial vehicles registered before 1956. The route takes in some of the most stunning scenery that Durham and North Yorkshire has to offer.
The museum will open from 8.30am for spectators to watch the entrants cross the start line down on the Events Field. Vehicles should begin returning from around 3.30pm, making their way through The 1900s Town to the finish line on the Events Field!
Beamish will remain open until 6pm to allow spectators to watch the vehicles return. Please note, however, that the museum exhibits and transport system will be running as usual from 10am-5pm only.
As well as the run, there will be a static display of magnificent classic cars to see throughout the day. We will also have a parade of pre-1939 Morris Cars driving around the museum at 1pm as part of the Morris Car Rally.
Beamish reserves the right to alter or change this programme at any point.
