The Community Participation team facilitates engagement with the museum in a variety of ways. Some of the services currently offered by the team include:
The Community Participation team also develop and support projects involving community groups, social groups and special interest groups who hope to engage with Beamish, the history of the area or the skills and expertise at Beamish.
These projects are varied and wide ranging and we welcome your ideas and suggestions as to how Beamish can be a useful and inspiring resource for you and your group.
The Regional Resource Centre at Beamish houses the museum’s fascinating stored collections and archives. These are free to access by appointment.
