Christmas & New Year Opening Hours
Wishing all of our visitors a very Merry Christmas, this page lists our opening times over the Christmas and New Year period.

Opening Times and Admission Prices until 2nd January 2012.
The Museum is FULLY OPEN on the following dates:

- Wednesday 21st December
- Thursday 22nd December
- Friday 23rd December
- Saturday 24th December
- Tuesday 27th December*
- Wednesday 28th December*
- Thursday 29th December*
- Saturday 31st December*
- Sunday 1st January 2012*
- Monday 2nd January 2012*
Open 10am to 4pm, last admission 3pm.
The Museum will be CLOSED on the following dates:
- Sunday 25th December
- Monday 26th December
- Friday 30th December
Adult £16, child £10 (5 -16 years), senior/student £13. Every ticket lasts a whole year – pay just once and visit for a whole year free of charge.
What’s open - The Town, Pit Village, Pockerley Old Hall, Home Farm, Grotto and Ice Rink.
* PLEASE NOTE: There will be no grotto open or market stalls in The Town from Tuesday 27th December onwards.
Father Christmas’s Grotto
£3 per child (3 to 16 years), includes a traditional toy. Open until (and including) Saturday 24th December.
Ice Skating
Adult £5, children £4 for 20 minutes. Special offer - one child skates free for every paying adult skater. 22nd October 2011 to 19th February 2012.
